Team l20550l\l3l2l led by Mr_Takisuteni AKA Taki, began their reign in the infamous Fall of 07 season. This season is what started Pokemon Gamebattles and without it, there may not have been 8 other seasons since then. In the Fall season, Taki immediately proved his dominance climbing to the top of the leader board and making playoffs. After winning in his first round, he got paired up with zerowing and they claimed he used hacked pokemon. We will never know the true story but in the finals, he could not overcome the odds and lost to Bravehearts. He came back several seasons later and trolled the forums like no other, but rightfully so as he was one of the best battlers on the site. We could have used without his often complaints about luck being against him but all the same, he is still a reputable battler. Taki is currently a member of the hall of fame.

Led by Jeb from IGN, Bravehearts appeared on the Fall of 07 season which kicked off competitive pokemon at Gamebattles. The team was very skilled and made it to the top 8 for playoffs that season and eventually took down the trophy against l20550l\l3l2l (Taki’s Team). After that season, when they found out there was no prize for winning they left this site along with most of the battlers from that season. He has not returned since. Jebroni is currently a member of the hall of fame.

Bringin Tha Ruckus was established in the winter of 08 season by Athletic and was originally named Pokemon Masters Elite or PME Dynasty. This was one of several PME teams crawling on the ladder which eventually 4 of them made playoffs with PME Dynasty finishing in second place and eventually taking down the championship against Jessikiel. Next season Athletic teamed up with EvisuMatt and took down another championship against Galactic Elements finishing in First place overall that season. In its third season, Stone_Cold22 joined up and helped the team finish with a 2nd place finish in the season again and eventually took down Wumpa’s Wrath in the finals crowning its third championship. Other members only played a few matches but played a big role in the teams success. The team is currently ranked in the top teams in win % and overall wins. Athletic, Evisu, Stone_Cold22 and Mario310 are currently all members of the hall of fame.

Jessikiel was led by the dual couple tandem Lexite and Syberia. The two of them proved their dominance in the winter of 08 season reaching a 63-11 record and finishing atop the ladder. In the playoffs they won their first 3 matches handily and eventually Syberia lost to Athletic in the finals. Ever since that season they have not really played only rarely making appearances on the forums or for a quick battle. Syberia is currently in the Hall of Fame.

Team Hydraco was led by LakersBeBallin from the GFAQs forums. He first appeared in the winder of 08 season reaching a 42-12 mark good enough for a 6 seed in playoffs. He won his first 2 matches and faced off against Athletic in the semifinals and lost. In his next season his team stood strong at a 40-6 mark and was the 7th seed in that season. His first round he played against Seph from Galactic Elements and lost. His two playoff appearances are something not many teams can claim to have accomplished. Team Hydraco is currently in the top teams in win %. LakersBeBallin is currently in the Hall of Fame.

Team Metagross is led by Gandalay46 and is the longest running team in gamebattles history, recently retired. Leading his team to top 15 finishes in every season they have competed in, it is no surprise that Team Metagross made it to the hall. They were the first team to 300 wins on the ladder and are currently in the top teams in Win % and Most wins all time. Both of their playoff appearances ended in first round losses but it is still a feat that not many teams can claim to have accomplished. Team Metagross is one of the most consistently well rounded teams in gamebattles history. Gandalay46 is currently in the Hall of Fame.

Led by Zak91, UltimateAlliance quickly made their presence known advancing to the top of the ladder with a steady 45-6 record. His domination throughout playoffs was evident as he easily defeated his first two opponents 6-0 and then faced off against Stone_Cold22 in the finals from OverDose and won in a close exciting match. The next season there was no change in his dominance as he again led his team to the top of the ladder making his second playoff appearance in as many seasons. He made quick work of his opponents again facing off against ~Pokemon Dynasty~ in the finals and winning again. In his last season here Yanmega joined up and played UA and made the playoffs yet a third time. This final playoff run was not as challenging as the previous two but still was a test that Yanmega passed claiming UA’s third straight championship. UA currently is one of the best teams to ever come through gamebattles and is currently one of the top teams in win %. Zak91 and Yanmega are both currently in the hall of fame.

Wanna? Lose was led by zerowing and made its debut in the fall of 07 season. He and stranger danger led his team to a 35-5 record and eventually made the playoffs. In the semifinals they lost to Taki in a controversial loss which is what caused them to leave gamebattles forever. Since that season they have not been seen since.

One of the most heavy-handed combination of names in GB history, but inactivity is what removed them from a chance at a championship. Appearing in the winter of 08 season they showed no signs of weakness quickly domineering the ladder and remaining at the #2 spot all the way until playoffs. Because of their inactivity they could not compete in playoffs and quickly disbanded their team shortly after. Mario310 is currently in the Hall of Fame.

BIG-Wumpa is the leader of this Storied Franchise. He and Uchiha_DM led this team to the most all time wins for a short period of time before being most recently overtaken by Team Metagross and Zero Losers. He made his debut in spring of 08 but shined in the summer of 08 season leading is team to hold the crown and making the playoffs as the 3 seed. He successfully won 3 playoff matches only to lose in the finals to BtR and Stone_Cold. In his next couple seasons he proved his wellness as he finished in playoff contention twice more. Never able to hoist a trophy of their own, this team still proved their overall prowess finishing in the top all time in Wins. Wumpa is currently a member of the hall of fame.

His team is the first and only team to ever make 4 playoff appearances, most recently being this season. He has finished in first place of the winter 09 season and the Summer 09 season and has finished in the top 5 five different times. His team is first all time in wins and has always been a noble team. Guyu is currently in the hall of fame. He has recently returned for the Spring 2010 season boasting a 76-10 record good for another top 5 finish at the moment.
